RRC ER Scouts & Guides Quota Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
- Level-2: 18 to 30 years.
- Level-1: 18 to 33 years.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: as per rules.
Educational Qualifications:
- Level-2 (Group ‘C’): 12th (+2 stage) with minimum 50% marks (not required for SC/ ST/ ESM/ PwBD or candidates with higher qualifications) or 10th pass + ITI/NAC approved by NCVT.
- Level-1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’): 10th pass or 10th pass + ITI/NAC approved by NCVT.
- Candidates must possess valid certificates at the time of online registration.
✔️ Scouting/Guiding Qualifications:
- President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
- Active member of Scouts Organization for the last 5 years (Certificate of Activeness as per Annexure-VIII).
- Attended two events at National or All Indian Railways’ level and two events at State level.
RRC ER Scouts & Guides Quota Selection Process:
- Written Test (40 marks).
- Marks on Certificates (60 marks: Scouting/Guiding certificates, educational qualifications).
✅ RRC ER Scouts & Guides Quota Application Fee:
- UR/OBC/EWS (Male): ₹500/- (₹400/- refunded after appearing in written exam).
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes: ₹250/- (fully refunded after appearing in written exam).
- Payment Method: Online via Debit/Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking. Non-refundable if absent from exam.
