Research Assistant Qualification & Experience Required:
- Essential:
- Bachelor of Science (16 years of education).
- 8–10 years of professional experience in University Administration.
- Desirable:
- Master’s degree with 6–8 years of experience in University Administration.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in ORIC/Research Projects.
Research Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Record keeping of ongoing and completed research projects.
- Drafting official letters, instructions, and minutes.
- Processing project progress reports for funding agencies.
- Assisting in Best Researcher Award data compilation.
- Data entry for ORIC Score Card.
- Following up with PIs (Principal Investigators) for timely report submission.
- Updating project data on NRP and university databases.
- Coordinating meetings with project PIs.
- Performing additional tasks assigned by the officer.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong multitasking & organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience in faculty liaison and office administration.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
