The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has announced a recruitment drive for individuals aspiring to serve the nation as Commissioned Officers in various branches through Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC / SPSSC). This initiative includes several technical and non-technical roles, including Admin and Special Duties in PAF, offering a prestigious career path for both males and females. PAF has opened registration for a range of Commissioned Officer positions under PC and SSC/SPSSC categories. Available roles under PC include Aeronautical Engineering, Air Defence, Admin and Special Duties in PAF, and Logistics, while SSC/SPSSC offers opportunities in Education, Engineering, Legal (JAG), MET, and Accounts branches. Educational qualifications vary by role and may include FSc (Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical/ICS), DAE, BS, BE, MA, MSc, M.Com, MBA, LLB, and MPhil, with a minimum of 60% to 65% marks or equivalent CGPA from recognized institutions.

Age limits depend on the branch—ranging from 16 to 30 years. For example, Engineering and Logistics roles may require candidates aged between 16 to 22 years, while Education, Legal, and Accounts branches have upper age limits between 25 to 30 years.
