The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has announced the IB Security Assistant / Executive (SA/Exe) Examination 2025 through a notification published in the Employment News Paper dated 26th July 2025. IB Security Assistant Salary:
- Pay Level 3 (₹21,700–69,100) as per 7th CPC
- Additional 20% Special Security Allowance
- Central Government allowances (DA, HRA, etc.)
- Cash compensation for duty on holidays (up to 30 days)
IB Security Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit (as on 17/08/2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 27 years
Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, as per GoI norms
Educational Qualifications:
- Matriculation (10th Class Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board
- Possession of a domicile certificate for the state/UT against which the candidate is applying
- Proficiency in one of the local languages/dialects specified for the respective SIB Desirable: Field experience in intelligence work
